Iffy move. Doesn't have the height of a legit center (though his reach is a freakshow) and we don't have a point guard to get him any offense. It's going to be all easy put-backs and whatever he can, in rare situations, create for himself.

biyombo is still growing, he has a 7'7 wingspan. he is a great rebounder and shotblocker.

i would give up billups +fields for 2 picks to get Biyombo and Jimmer

It's not all about offense. Why do people seem to think that? He will get at least six points a game off of put backs, easy dunks/layups and can get 2-4 more from getting fouled.

But his defense is insane at this point.

even though hes short, he can leap and leap even more with his arms, i think all we would be asking from him right now is to rebound and shot block, he can get garbage buckets along the way when hes open, but the guy is almost like mozgov where he would miss point blank layups, so give the guy a year or 2 to develop his confidence...i think it will come fast with amare showing him the ropes.

How high can the Knicks move up if we trade Landry+17 or Douglas+17?

there might be a few teams interested in landry/douglas not sure who though, pacers were one(douglas), not sure teams around #10 would consider landry/douglas well worth trading for..

Mhm, I was disappointed when we signed him last summer, he played like 10 games in 2 years. To be real, I actually think he would be a good fit with the Knicks as an 8th or 9th man, but really he shouldn't be playing 30+ minutes a night like he was with us last year.

What trade pieces do the Knicks have to move up, are they really going to give up on Landry Fields for Biyombo? I guess Douglas would be worth getting rid of.

All the clubs in Spain think he is in his mid to early 20s. Most in Spain say he is like 23 or 24. Also, his official draft measurements were a 7'6" wingspan. The 7'7" claim was not an official draft measurement.

There is no Center on the roster right now. Biyombo will be splitting time with Turiaf, but eventually will have to play big minutes when Turiaf goes down with another injury. If we're taking him in the Top 10 or even at #17, Biyombo is going to be baptized by fire. At the same time all of his interviews suggest he wants the pressure.

This isnt some humble project like Thabeet or Sene who isnt sure what they can do. This dude Biyombo is Straight outta Congo and says hes going to lead the league in Blocks and Rebounds.

OK, well we are going to find out.
STRAIGHT OUTTA CONGO, CRAZY MOTHER****ER NAMED BIYOMBO
