If the lakers didnt trade Sasha and a pick to NJ for ****ing joe smith, then they could have gotten the 26th pick today and then traded him for Rudy instead of the mavs getting him. Rudy would be awesome on LA.
Gj mitch. We could have also used sasha last year. o jeez
Maybe it's just me, but it seemed like there were a lot of 6'7 and change to 6'9 225-240 guys who played more like defensive stoppers than traditional forwards. I know we've been talking about the decline in true centers for years now, but have we reached a turning point in the league where teams may look to the 4 to play the enforcer role?
I'm happy that Danny Ainge grabbed one of these guys (Jajuan Johnson) via trade - lot's of alley oop plays courtesy of Rondo in his future. too bad he couldn't figure out a way to get him and keep Marshon Brooks, kid reminds me of Kevin Martin......even if it's just in that he's a pure scoring SG with legit SG size being picked so late.
I wake up... and Jonas still hasnt been traded....
whats not to like, reasonably athletic, great toughness, great defensive intensity, good freethrow shooter (potential as a jump shooter), good shot blocker, good pick and roll defender, good rebounder, and great potential. imo he was the best player left on the board. i wish the cavs had taken him.
JaVale McGee twitter "my mans got hops.... and his girl like 6'5...-P" "get ready for the 1st triple alley oop in nba history.. wall to mcgee to vesely"
