How does this team finish in the regular season and how far can it go in the playoffs?

Since Miller's contract is non-guaranteed, he probably will get swapped out again or simply waived so Denver can save money. Wouldn't be surprised to see Miller get moved for a big.

Denver has already confirmed they plan on keeping Miller. He has always been one of George Karl's favorite players, and i know that's a huge reason why this deal went down... He will be Lawson's backup. Which is the perfect role for an aging Miller.

I like that Petteri Kaponen kid that the Mavs got from this trade. Apparently he is J.Kidds replacement... when is he coming over to the NBA?

Yes he is. Over the last 4 years he's been a top 5 defender at the PG position. Trust me I'm a Bobcat fan.

Miller's going to get moved. I laugh that people think he's going to backup Lawson, Miller is a good player but he's never been shy about thinking he's a #1 starter. He's not a sit on the bench mentor type guy. He's non guaranteed, so a great trade chip. But if they got him to backup Lawson i question that because he's going to be a pain.

45-47 wins. probably 1st round out. But they didn't get these pieces to sit on them and make a title run. Combine 2/3 of those players and you can get a stud starter for what essentially are role players for Denver.

oh look who's back in denver ...

this trade makes much more sense in my eyes compared to the kings/bucks/bobcats trade.

So are Raymond Felton and Gerald Wallace going to see each other in Portland, then run to each other in slow motion, and embrace?

Dint roy tell the blazers to choose between him and miller a few months back? Other than miller being 35+ or something years old, that's the only reason i see for them to make this deal. Felton is a downgrade in the pg position IMO.

I think this is a good trade for the blazers. Andre is mid 30s and in the last year of his contract, and almost everyone in Portland wants Rudy gone. Felton has shown that he is capable of being an all-star caliber guard in the right system, he is a good defender and he stretches the floor a lot more than Andre. Felton + Matthews + Wallace + Aldridge + Camby is a beastly defensive lineup

he puts up all star calibur numbers in a system that Nate McMillan wouldn't run in a million years. Felton isn't going to do anything more for Portland than what he did in Charlotte. Portland tried to make a splash, but didn't. Really confused as to what their goal is by making this move, because you could tell last year they weren't that far away from really competing. This just seems like a step back now and a step sideways in the future if they can even resign Felton.
