^^^^^I read that today as well. Oh well, go for Reggie Evans and some un-drafted players to fill out the roster. We'll be better in '11-'12.....when there is a next year...

he worked on his jumper over the summer, and looks crazy good at the Impact Competitive Basketball Series. John Wall, Chauncy Billups, JaVale McGee, OJ Mayo, Correy Maggette (38 Poitns), Jordan Crawford, JJ Hickson, Josh Selby, Jermaine Taylor, Brandon Rush, Jared Dudley, Jeremy Evans, Corey Brewer,

They don't play any defense at all in those games haha. Well, for NBA standards. But I'm really starting to like this kid.

He is far more athletic than Rondo and already has a better jumpshot. He has similar potential on the defensive end. Unfortunately he's not nearly the passer Rondo is nor does he have his court vision. He'll definitely make some boneheaded plays this year.

Actually,at IMPACT they do play defense a lot of times. Reason being, that site is also renowned as a hot spot for players getting ready for the draft combines and individual workouts. In fact,I saw alot of tape of Iman before the draft on there. He was one of the more impressive rookies. Darius Morris and Kawhi Leonhard worked out there too among others.

I'm anxious to see the young fella play.Like I said, he can be a solid - average guy at the 2. At the point, if he develops,he could be extraordinary. Theres tons 6'5" shooting guards with athleticism. 6'5" point guards however are a rare breed and especially valuable on a team where he won't have to have the ball at all times. He's fortunate to have already played both pg and sg.

not to mention our potential starting lineup by height, we can field the biggest lineup of the league...

chandler: 7'1"
amare 6'10"
melo 6'8"
fields 6'7"
iman 6'5"

all tall and athletic

I believe him. Melo is definitely 6'8" and he was significantly taller than Melo in that picture they took with Chandler.Granted,Melo looked like he had on flip flops. When Amare was in HS,he was listed as a 7 footer in many scouting blogs.

I was thinking the same thing about our size though bluechox. Shumpert at the point would give us tremendous size while still maintaining speed. Not to mention,we have tons of athleticism. I think Shumpert will instantly guarantee us that from him. He can jump out the gym.In retrospect, I wish we would have tried to ink Mark Jackson as coach.I have a feeling GS is going to be fast breaking all game long.I think we'd be at our best as a fast break team. Amare and Chandler run the cout as well as any big men in the game. If Melo is you slowest player, I think you have an extremely athletic team.

So is there any news on how Iman will be used?
I have only seen highlights/lowlights of his on YouTube, but I must say I liked what I saw, especially the defense part.

The team thinks he can run the point, and will help defensively against both back court positions.
