I think the lottery order is set depending on an average of of the past 3 seasons' win totals so Cleveland wouldn't be as high (barring some unbelievable lottery luck again).

Whether we return in October or January or next season...this team is going to suck unless we do something different. so makes no difference to me in terms of the raptors.

If that's the case, I guess that means we'd have the average of a (5-9-9) so I guess we'd be getting a 7 or 8th pick if that's the case? That said, I agree with Bada Bing. I don't want to lose a whole NBA season, but it's not because of missing Raptors ball.

I've seen a bunch of different theories. Including one where every nba team goes to the lottery.

Yeah it doesn't look good.

I actually think best case scenario is a shortened season.

^^ now that would suck, royally. With our luck teams like Miami and Boston would hit the jackpot whereas we'd end up with a 14-30th pick. I'd bet my life on it.

i think the balls would still be waited based on previous record.
I think there would be three tiers. If you finish in the top 10 you get the worst chance if you finish in the bottom 10 you get the best chance.

I really don't think it will happen though.
The two sides aren't really that far apart.

It is easy to act tough during the summer when there is no ball anyway.
