How will it help them? Its not like they aging backwards. If this lockout helps the older then what will it to for the younger teams like Miami and chicago.
Not much. The older you are the less capable you're legs can carry you for periods of time and the slower your recovery time. For the youngsters who are already capable of healing faster and lasting the distance anyway not much difference will be made to their bodies because stamina issues and recovery times were less relevant anyway. I would imagine the Lakers benifit massively as well.
Who doesn't? Nets might lose DWill, Hornets will lose Chris Paul, Bulls or Thunder could put Rose or Westbrook at the 2, and Rondo is better than every other PG in the league (and imo Westbrook too, but whatever).
You realise Ray, Paul and KG has been playing off Rondo for the past 2-3 seasons and not the other way round?
Ray and KG yes, Paul no. KG is still an ace defensively, but he does get a lot of helpers from Rondo. Ray basically lives off Rondo, and Pierce is independent. He could get his shots in his spots no matter what team he was on. He's still be a 22-25ppg scorer on a lot of teams
We will see how elite he is in one year when he isn't playing with the big 3.
please explain to me how losing good teammates will hurt his rebounding, defense or court vision? You can argue he'll have less assists, but all the things i mentioned are not dependent on having good players on your team.
