Greg Oden, Andrew Bynum, & Yao Ming being so injury prone really hurt the post Shaq era of centers so far. All three of those guys should be having epic playoff battles with each other & Dwight Howard but Oden is always hurt & Ming is done.
Bynum is close though, he was the best Laker in their series against Dallas. It was more of a deal where the offense ran through Kobe than Bynum not being dominant. If he got the touches that traditional centers got he would be a 20/10 guy....if he could stay healthy.
Javale has potential to do that every game though maybe not to that extent but to shut down the paint just as well. Milicic just had a good game but the dude has like no potential.
Sure, I'll concede the argument that based on his physical potential he could do this night in and night out. I just don't think he has the brain to do that night in and night out nor become an elite defender. We will see.
