You mad?

Dallas was old this year too, w/o a star of D-Wills caliber to back Dirk up. A bunch of the Mavs big contracts expire after this year leaving room for D-Will to sign. Why don't you look some shit up before making yourself look like an ass.

I'm thrilled with Shawn Marion and Brian Cardinal as the backup PFs. Dallas needs to conserve for Deron in 2012. It is going to happen.

Dallas needs to just resign Chandler, Cardinal, and Stevenson. Butler & Barea are going to cost too much. Next year Kidd & Terry come off of the books. That allows you 24 months to develop Riddy into Jason Terrys role and sign Deron Williams to replace Kidd.

PG Deron Williams | Dominique Jones
SG Rudy Fernandez | Roddy Buckets
SF Shawn Marion | Corey Brewer
PF Dirk Nowitzki | Shawn Marion
CT Tyson Chandler | Ian Manhimi

They will have to basically dump Haywood by then to make the room needed for Deron but it shouldn't be hard to find a team to take him.

Well, he just booted one agent for a Mav friendly agent who is the agent for several Mavericks.

He is a hometown product. During the Finals, Dirk saw him walking around the arena and asked why he was there... he said to see hisw idol:L Kidd.

It is not out of the realm of possibility that he could go to the Mavs.

Probably not. But Kenyon was the one who tweeted about signing with the Mavs.

Quite ironic with his past with Cuban

Martin and Kidd back together? Would be cool

It is right now. If the CBA remains somewhat the same the Mavs will have 14 million in capspace and that is only IF the Mavs:

-don't re-sign Tyson Chandler
-don't re-sign Butler
-don't re-sign Barea
-Waive their bird rights to JET
-Don't add any money through deals/FA

Absolute best case scenario is that they can offer Deron Williams a deal starting a 14 million. Williams taking a pay-cut to play with 35 year old Dirk and Brandon Haywood as the third best player on the team? Get the fuck out!

Even more ridiculous: The Mavericks blowing up a championship team so they can have 14 million in capspace in 2012. Never, ever, ever going to happen. This case is closed.
