The only teams that have a shot at beating them are the '85/'87 Lakers, and the '86 Celtics. No version of the Pistons has any chance. Jordan virtually by himself, with a far worse supporting cast (before Pippen/Grant came into their own) pushed the '89'90 Pistons to 6 and 7 games respectively - and now you're giving MJ 1992/'93 form Pippen/Grant? No contest.
I feel the '83 Sixers would lose to the '96 Bulls because Harper/Jordan/Pippen/Rodman are perhaps the ideal defenders for Cheeks/Toney/Dr. J/Moses, whereas the converse isn't true. Their offensive firepower does concern me even given this, however. Same would roughly hold true for the '92 Bulls with BJ/MJ/Pip/Grant defending the four Sixers players.
