That's why I posted this, because it reminded me of the 1970 team in that way.
Since there is no so-called go to guy the only way to win is to play the good old fashioned way. That is:
Play defense, help out on defense, rebound, pass when you don't have your shot or you see someone open and do the little intangible things that only a professional NBA player should know but so many don't. Box out, run the floor, know the rules, take the charge, dive for a loose ball, foul when it has to be done, things like that. It's called unselfish play.
Having 5 guys on the court at the same time doing those things is poetry in motion and a beautiful thing to watch........

I also believe the brawl did our team a lot of good, when somebody slaps you upside the head you better come back strong and not allow anybody else to try that B.S on your home court.
Our boys have come back swinging, too bad we went into Philly flat and cold and lost that game.
