Default Is Iverson the greatest basketball athlete ever?

Every other great , game changing athlete has had an incredible work ethic in the gym and weightroom..

I read that Iverson never hit the weights until he got to the Denver Nuggets... deep into his career.

How is that possible?

brb black genetics
brb dont gotta lift weights to be a National Football/Basketball star
brb 1st round draft pick
brb probably smokin herb and fukkin bitches non stop
brb win MVP with no weight lifting routine

????

ps wilt is #2

Riiiiight but he's been lifting weights since Middle School. Also, will he have the athletic longevity that Ivo's had?

Much respect to Wilt. He's my #2. But....

Football/Basketball >>>Track/Basketball

Iverson dominated FOOTBALL , one of the greatest , toughest , most enduring sports in the world, and he made it look EASY. Some say he could have had a great NFL career.

1 - Ivo
2 - Wilt

Hank Stram conducted a tryout in the mid-60's, and invited Wilt to participate. Wilt outraced his fastest running back, and then proceeded to put on a show. Stram, who had players like 6-9 Buck Buchanon, immediately offered Wilt a LEGITIMATE contract, and proclaimed that Wilt would be an All-Pro.

Thats interesting. However, he didnt prove anything by running fast? Iverson was a DOMINANT quarterback. DOMINANT.

I have a hard time believing someone was on the football team and didn't lift weights. Did he not attend practice or something?

wtf there are plenty of natural athletes in the nba. it's what they do extra that separates them from an AI. AI lasted as long as his natural talent. 33 and gone.
