Sounds like a snoozer from what I've heard. A COUPLE touchdowns would be nice, like a 24-17 game or 24-21 or something.

What in the world was Jordan Jefferson thinking? Just think if LSU had a competent D1 quarterback?

Jefferson is probably the worst QB I've seen..

This isn't a good defensive game, its an anemic offensive one.

Well at least LSU defense is trying to do their part. Its just LSU offense is sucking on epic proportions. Aw man, Alabama almost scored a TD with that pass attempt.

LSU's offense is so terrible. I know Bama has an all-time defense, but my god, is Jefferson trying to make them look better than they are or what?

Both offenses suck but if you can't watch this game and see that Alabama has a historically great college defense, then something is wrong with you. LSU's isn't as good but it's a very good one as well. If I had to guess, off the top of my head, I'd say there's 10+ future NFL players combined between the two defenses.

I'd have liked to have seen Alabama play a Stanford team and LSU play Okie St. Alabama has a great defense, but it looks like they made the appropriate adjustments while LSU figured they'd just play the same way they played in Tuscaloosa.

All year long, LSU was able to line-up and run the ball down the throats of every non-Alabama opponent on their schedule because no one else had the hogs up front to match them in the trenches. They were very fortunate Alabama missed four FGs the first time they played. But, like the first game, Alabama is showing they do have even bigger studs in the trenches and are manhandling an LSU team that manhandled everyone else.

It's actually quite impressive what Alabama is doing to the LSU run game. LSU's passing game has always sucked but they've imposed their will by running the ball on everyone else they've played.

They both have terrific defenses, I'm not refuting that fact.

However, LSU's offense is even more sad than Alabama's. And it all begins with the QB play, that fact that they can't even get in position for a decent FG attempt only amplifies that. If LSU had a half decent offense or even one on par with Alabama, this game would be a lot more competitive
