That's all folks. What a disappointing end to an amazing season. Outplayed and outcoached. Les is too stubborn to switch to Lee and Jefferson is too stupid to spell his own name. They should have suspended him for the season so we wouldn't be sitting here watching this garbage. Terrible.

True, but you've got to remember both of these teams are built to run the ball and control the clock because of their great defenses. The reason they are so successful in doing so is because both teams are starting a future NFLer at every secondary position and can play one-on-one coverage with safety-only help. Meaning you can stack seven in the box and shutdown the run, which is easy for an Alabama team with LB's in the 6'4" 250 range and big physical hogs on the line. Same for LSU.

Like you said, though, LSU's QB is so bad, they can't even get in range for a FG. Alabama's isn't that good either, but he's good enough to move the ball.

LSU has Zach Mettenberger taking over next year and he's supposed to be the real deal as a pro-style QB.

Finally...a touchdown. Alabama earned the victory..but I still feel they didn't truly deserve to get there in the game itself.

Correction, the LSU Offense should be embarassed. Defense gave it all they had and shut down Richardson until that last run. Eventually you're going to give up a big play when you're on the field 80% of the damn game.

They at least have an offense. You'd have to believe that a non-SEC type offense could have some sort of mild success against either defense.




And i cant believe Miles was so stubborn not to put in Lee. It's the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Yea I don't understand why he won't let Lee out there. He's too stubborn. They should fire him just because he left Jefferson in for the 2nd half.

Feels like shit is what it feels like. Mettenberger and the other qbs better know how to run because we have maybe 1 pass play in the playbook. Thank god the Saints are in the playoffs. This didn't feel as bad as it could have at least.
