If we can get the Vick/DeSean extensions over with...
Ben Leber (consistent weak side linebacker over the years)
Pisa Tinoisamoa (could be a vet minimum kind of guy)
Dhani Jones (led Bengals in tackles last season)
Those are 3 guys that are gaining such little interest on the market who I would love to bring in on the cheap, especialy Leber or Jones. Leber would be an upgrade over Fokou on the weak side and all 3 would provide a veteran presence to the young guys (Matthews and Chaney).
Lofa Tatupu and Kirk Morrision are somehow available as well.
^that's always a good read. He shares my thoughts on Landri. If Trevor Laws doesn't get on the field soon this guy may take his job as the DT on passing downs. I had never heard of Landri, but the article says he started all 16 for the Panthers last year. He had 3 sacks.

How close did free-agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha come to signing with the Cowboys? Very close, Dallas owner Jerry Jones said.
"We had known that he really wanted to be a Dallas Cowboy," Jones said on the Cowboys' pregame show before their preseason game against the Denver Broncos on Thursday, via The Dallas Morning News. "And that’s a fact. There, for about an hour, I thought he was going to be a Dallas Cowboy. You do that because you can do it and should do it, and take advantage of the opportunity."
Jones, who had not previously commented on the amount of money the Cowboys were willing to pay Asomugha, added, "We obviously wanted (Asomugha) or we wouldn’t have been in the $10 million and up range to get him."
The All-Pro cornerback signed a five-year, $60 million contract with the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles on July 29.
The Cowboys, Houston Texans and New York Jets had been considered front-runners to obtain Asomugha before the Eagles entered the picture.
