Offseason game I do now and then. 5 tiers of players. 108 total. Build your team.
Did this a few times years ago. Lot of people made a team. Something to kill a few minutes of newsless lockout offseason time.
First let me say...
Seeing a player on a level does not mean I feel he is factually superior to one below his level. Im ranking them based on what I feel ISH posters would want to build a team. Because of that I left some guys out. Great as Baylor was if I put him on a list with Pippen...people take Pippen. But id feel kinda dirty putting him with...Glen Rice or something. Just side stepping such issues by leaving them out. A guy like Toine...better than Horry. I dont think that everyone would rather have him as a bench player on a contender though. So they are grouped together. Not by talent...by my quick ranking of what I think someone might want for a team.
Small difference from the last few times for anyone who has been here long enough to remember...
First group comes at a price now. If you take 1 of them...this is how you build your team...
1 from level 1.
2 from level 3.
3 from level 4.
4 from level 5.
For a total of 10 players. You dont get a level 2 player at all. That is the price of starting with a Jordan, Magic, or Shaq type. You get them..and skip to level 3.
If you start your team with level 2 players...you get to go..
2 of level 2.
2 from level 3
3 from level 4
3 from level 5.
For a total of 10.
Level 1. If you pick one...skip to level 3.....
Yao(prime/not made of glass)
Bosh(considered for level 3...but nobody would have taken him)
Ben Wallace(first pistons run)
Lets see what you terribly bored people come up with. I'll do mine later.

Too hard to place. Hes sure as hell not a first level. And if hes on second...nobody would be likely to pick him. Id end up dropping him to #3 to make him a solid option and it would feel a bit wrong to have him that low.
