Pretty touching acceptance speech. Despite the flamboyance and theatrics that tend to overshadow the man and his achievements, he's actually a pretty intelligent, thoughtful person who clearly wants to make up for some of the trouble he's caused in the past. Good for him.

With that said, the most shocking thing he could have done at the induction ceremony tonight would have been to dress normally and take out the piercings. Imagine how caught off guard people would be, especially after the hype surrounding his arrival and outfits.

Well deserved! Jordan and Pippen wouldn't have accomplished the second three peat without him.

rodman was the sickest non-scoring nigg$ who ever played the game.

you ain't finding a sicker non-scoring cat.

find me a guy who only scores like 5 or 6 points a game and does more than him. you can't.

I swear Dennis was at both the 2009 and 2010 induction ceremony.

David Robinson was also inducted in 2009 and maybe dennis was there to support him.

On a random note, I remember him hitting an open 20 footer in game 6 of the 98 finals. His reaction was so funny like "go figure" as Bob Costas put it. It would've been nice if he did spend some time developing an open 18 foot jumper. Guess he didn't want to. His rebounding averages will be matched by few players.

Congratulations Rodman, well deserved. He was a vital part of the Bulls 3peat. One of the best undersized rebounder ever!

I would lay substantial odds that his single-season rebounding record of 29.7% will never be broken while NBA basketball remains a 5 on 5 game.

Wilt or Bill has a say in their early years.

Rodman definately deserves to be in the hall. And he's probably the greatest defender ever. As well as rebounder.

No and no and no. Three strikes.
