Default I really didn't see this coming

The past few seasons our bench has really been holding us down, so finally Thorn helps us out and drafts/signs us a great bench. Only problem is, the bench isn't the problem anymore, it's the starters. If only the two could be put together, we really could have had something going. But even with Krstic out, it might not be too late, but I'm starting to lose hope.

Default re

anyone think Frank's substitution patterns are to blame? anyone think Kidd playing fewer minutes is to blame?

by always taking Kidd out during the 4 or 3 minute mark, other teams capitalize by putting another shooter or slasher in the guard spot to whore Marcus. moreover, whe nKidd is not on the floor and its Carter and RJ, RJ tends to defer a little too much, and if Carter's passing and his shot are not working, things fall apart.

the one thing about last year's bench was though they couldn't buy a bucket, they would always play with defensive ferocity

anyway, injuries played a big part of this

RJ was out for a few games early on and then came back less than 100% when the Nets went on road trips versus WEst teams with superior big men who could rebound the hell out of the ball.

that just compounds all of your problems into one.

during some stretches, everyone outside of Kidd, Moore, and Adams played with no energy.

not having Cliffy hold down the fort in the frontcourt also hurt

hope is not lost. Frank now realizes playing small is not a good idea for the Nets because they don't have the pure shooters or Amare to play the Suns style.

Boone says he has been working on his moves and Frank should give him a chance. moreover, Cliffy is coming back soon.

Kidd is playing the most minutes this season out of any season that he's been in Jersey.
