People shouldn't bring up the "ring" as if it even slightly justifies anything. Trent Dilfer has a ring. Tom Brady has three rings, two MVPs, a starlet baby momma and a model wife whose even richer than he is. Tom Brady is a surefire first ballot Hall of Famer. Any argument for Eli Manning entering the Hall would be solidly refuted by 2 seconds of laughter. Manning's team winning an SB at the expense of Brady's does not change that fact. Does anyone take Mark Rypien over Jim Kelly? Doug Williams over John Elway? Because that's the level of this ass-dumb argument. Cut the nonsense. The Giants and Manning played a great game, they deserved to win theat SB, they get some credit for that but Tom Brady has an argument for being one of the 5 greatest QBs of all time. Eli Manning? Really? I mean, really?
and he has the ring and brady doesn't because of it, sometimes that's how the cookie crumbles
the cookie crumbles like this: that NE team will be remembered 50 years from now, and then followed by this question: wait, who did they lose to? Ally Marning's team, right?

No one will remember. No one.
I'm almost certain that the Giants will be remembered since it's one of the biggest upsets in NFL history.
And as well for having the most memorable play in SB history.
Certainly memorable, but most memorable in SB history? Doubt it. It was one of the great upsets in NFL history and kept that Pats team from putting themselves up there with the Dolphins, but it's place in history has as much to do with the history it prevented as the history it made.
