How would you guys rate my team?

In a 14 player league....

QB - Aaron Rodgers
WR - Reggie Wayne
WR - Brandon Marshall
WR - Hines Ward
RB - Steven Jackson
RB - Fred Jackson
TE - Tony Gonzalez
RB/WR/TE - Pierre Thomas
K - Garrett Hartley
DEF - New York Jets

Bench - Joe Flacco - (Trade bait)
Bench - Earl Bennett
Bench - Chris Cooley
Bench - Anthony Armstrong
Bench - Stevan Ridley - will waive for backup defense.

Should I start Cooley over Gonzalez in Week 1?

Gonzalez faces Bears defense while Cooley faces Giants defense.

As of right now, go with Gonzalez. Cooley has been sidelined with a sore knee for a while now and I think he just got back into practice yesterday. Why the need for a back up defense?

Like i said in the other thread keep fitz/charles/r.white - those 3 are all first round picks and youre not even giving up draft picks in exchange for your keepers? Its really self explanitory mate.

I am marlo btw

booze - I posted in the individual thread, but I will post here as well.

Vick, Charles, White is my pick for your three keepers. If not Vick, then Hillis.

I could see White being the #1 WR this season (he is the most reliable week to week), whereas we have never seen Kolb for an entire season. He isn't terribly accurate and they have questioned his longball, it seems.

I say Hillis over Fitz because you can potentially start 3 RB and, generally speaking, top RB outscore top WR more often than not and I do not see Hillis dropping off much, if at all.

Braylon Edwards v Seattle or Jacoby Jones v Indiana?

I was leaning towards Braylon at first because Seattle is so terrible, but Houston is going to destroy Indiana without Manning so I'm leaning towards him now.

Is this a PPR league?

No matter what I'd keep Jamal Charles. After that I'm tempted to keep Roddy White and Larry Fitzgerald, especially in ppr format. I do like Steven Jackson and Peyton Hillis but I have more injury concern with them. If you take Charles, White, and Fitz, then you are all set at WR and have a good start at RB.

First off I'd drop the extra defense and take a chance on a RB/WR that could have a breakout year. Good starting RB's and great having Stewart on the bench, I think you're all set there. If this is a deep league and other teams may be struggling at QB I would try trading Eli to upgrade at WR.

I need some advice on who to start week 1.

I need to choose 3 players from these 5.

Miles Austin @ NY Jets
Santana Moss against NY Giants
Santonio Holmes against Dallas Cowboys
Anquon Bolden against Pitt Steelers
Michael Bush @ Denver Broncos

Austin is my highest rated WR, but he's coming off an injury, and playing @ the Jets... so I currently have him benched. I also have Bush benched @ Denver for obvious reasons.

edit - Standard ESPN league, no PPR.
