So my draft tonight apparently is a 14 team league instead of 12 and rosters are:

QB/3WR/2RB/Flex/TE/K/DEF

3WR plus a flex? I'm going to be struggling in this draft it looks like.

Focus on your RB's and get a top 10 QB. If you can take 1 top WR that would be good, but when looking through the F/A pool after a draft there are always decent recievers left, but not RB.

And there are more likely to be breakout WR's during the year than RB's.

That one is a coin toss, but I'd probably go Greene

Totally disagree - In a 3 WR format it really puts an emphasis on the WR position (i.e. if there is a significant discrepancy between your WR3 and your opponents WR3 you're going to win your match up). Don't worry about a top 10 QB - I'd draft WR/RB's for the first 4-6 rounds (I'd suggest taking 3 WR's in the first 6 rounds), and then look for an upside QB like Bradford or Stafford in later rounds. As far as tight end is concerned you can draft a guy like Jared Cook or Lance Kendricks after round 10.

Hightower and it's not close - if it's PPR it's not even a debate.

apparently you get points based on margin of victory, but the most is +4 or -3. Im not sure. dude changed up the league from last year and that is a new feature.

Need to put someone in at flex wr/rb position...

Brandon Lloyd @ Oakland

Mario Manninham @ Washington

Fred Jackson @ KC

Pierre Thomas @ Green Bay

My gut is to go with either lloyd or thomas (I feel like thomas is more of a risk with the saints current running back situation though)

This whole draft was planned at the very last second so now that people had time to look at settings apparently it was changed to a 2WR format. How much would it alter the strategy, should I put more emphasis back onto RB's? It's still a standard scoring league.

I would probably go with Jackson although Lloyd could easily put up more pts than him. What size league is this that you have Lloyd/Manningham/Jackson as options for your flex?

If I were you I would draft RB/WR/RB/RB/WR/QB/RB/TE/WR in that order with a little leeway depending on if someone drops. Just dont be the sucker that drafts a QB or TE too early because someone "fell". Keep in mind you want to have a RB in your flex postion as RB's usually score more than WR's.

God that draft was so frustrating. Just as I log in I see the commish expanded it to 16 teams. After a while I just didn't know which direction to go, I was the last pick and this is what I ended up with

QB: Joe Flacco
RB: Rashard Mendenhall
RB: Tim Hightower
WR: Roddy White
WR: AJ Green
TE: Lance Kendricks
Flex: Knowshon Moreno
K: Nick Folk
DEF: Rams
Bench: Brandon Jacobs
Bench: Jacoby Ford
Bench: Jason Campbell
Bench: Davone Bess
Bench: Jason Snelling
Bench: Andre Roberts

I didn't draft another TE so I gotta check it out to see if one is available on the empty waiver wire. Beckum, Fasano, Fred Davis, and Evan Moore seem to be the best options available on waivers.
