I now have three qbs on my roster
newton
schaub
freeman
obviously I need to unload one of them and Im actually thinking schaub. Meanwhile, my RB core is busted (Charles-IR, Gore, Bradshaw, Tate and McCluster-counts as both wr/rb).
Anyway I can move schaub or freeman for a better RB or is their value too low? What are some reasonable RBs to target (in other words, not the top untouchable types, but maybe like MJD?)
I'm in a similar position in one of my leagues, I have Romo, Stafford, and Scaub. Right now everyone in my league still has hope in their starters so I'm going to hold onto all 3 for now and wait for some injuries or some borderline QB's to struggle a few games and then make a trade then. Not sure you'd get much trade value now unless someone in your leage is very week at QB
How bad do we think Antonio Gates' injury situation is going to be?
Not looking good. He's going to be playing with an injury that would end a lot of guys careers. This is not something that will heal. He's a warrior but his days of being the premier fantasy tight end are over.
The thing that really kills Gates' value is that nearly every week he plays in a late start game. It looks like he's going to have a lot of game time decisions this year and with half the teams having already played you're stuck without a good alternative if he sits out. He's great when he plays, but if he doesn't, you'll be lucky to plug in someone who can get you even 3 or 4 fantasy points.

one theory is just to pick up McMichael? And wait til 1PM pacific each week to see if gates is playing or not, put in McMichael if he isn't? Might be the best someone can do in that situation, not all rosy though McMichael is washed up.
I'm in a 10 team league with friends. Most know what they're doing, but there's a new guy this year.
He just traded Rivers + Santana Moss to the guy that drafted Peyton and was relying on weekly waiver wire QBs. His only other QB is Cam. This guy's not getting invited back.
