Default Re: Fantasy Football Advice!

Question for ISH's Redskins fans (RocSteady, Beasley, whomever), is Evan Royster any good? I was looking at some of his stats for last year and he barely got any touches but had a very high average ypc, as well as decent yards per reception (for a rb). My question is, will he be at all effective in the Skins rushing game this year?

I'm curious to know for fantasy purposes.

Yes he'd be effective given the job, however there is doubt about that. The Shanny's like to play games, but right now Royster looks like the best option to start the opener with Hightower and Helu both hurt, Royster has had a good offseason/camp and was good last year. Makes too much sense to start him so keep an eye on Alfred Morris as well.

Stay away from the redskins backfield. I owned helu torain and Hightower last year. Shanny says Torain will be workhorse, ends up not getting one ****ig carry!!

fantasy wise I honestly wouldn't rely on any skins RBs. They're really inconsistent, the O-line is really sketchy, and it often seems like they alternate good games between them

he could be a look for a late round pick. wouldn't be suprised if him or helu break out. imo helu is the more talented runner but he's usually there on 3rd down only because he's a god awful pass protector

Pretty happy with the draft I had last night. 12 team league 0.5 PPR 9th pick.

QB - Cam
RB - Jamaal Charles
RB - Sproles
WR - Megatron
WR - Brandon Llyod
WR - Eric Decker
TE - Jared Cook

A pretty deep bench too.

Receivers are great, but I don't particularly like your two backs. Sproles will be good for ppr, but I think Hillis will steal a lot of Charles' scoring opportunities. Overall I'd say you have a pretty solid team though. Kind of surprised to see you get Calvin at 9

I have Hillis on my bench.

My friends are scared of the Madden curse so Megatron fell a bit.

Pretty much this. I'm sure Helu and Royster will have some big Fantasy games but don't count on em week in and week out cuz our backfield is in fluid motion.

Here's a question for my football bruddas: I have the third pick, assuming Arian Foster goes first so I'm targeting Rodgers since Rice will prolly be taken 2nd (I live near BAL). Is it best to go Rodgers over Brees fantasy wise? I think it is but I haven't played in a couple years.

Also, assuming #2 pick takes A Rod 12 (a$$hole) should I snag Rice, Brees or McCoy. I'm thinking Ray Rizzle

Take Rodgers or Rice, whichever one you can get. Both are about as solid and consistent as you can get.

I've always been a QB in the first round kind of guy. Got Rodgers at #3 last year and he ended up leading the league in fantasy points, so I'm thinking of doing the same this year. My question: You're staring at Rodgers and Brady. Which one do you take? I think the Pats have a good chance to match their 2007 performance in regards to the passing game. Rodgers is coming off an incredible season, and you have to believe he's going to be hungry this year.

I jus think Rodgers is far more versatile at this point than Brady and has more depth for pass-catching options. He's the best QB in the game today

Rodgers can also get you 300 yards and 3-4 TDs running too which helps add to his already awesome passing stats. I'd rather take him over Brady. I think he is more consistent game in and game out too.

This. Rodgers is going to show why he is the best quarterback in the league this year.
