Even then Hillis may be irrelevant. Some guy named Stephen drought got some GL work. I think this week we will see how Charles and Hillis' roles will look like though.

Big Deal in the works right now

I may be able to give up Tom Brady and Martellus Bennet for Matt Ryan and LeSean Mccoy in a 2 TE no ppr league.

I should do this in a heartbeat right?

Still working it out and might have to throw in Benson? Hows ISH feel about this deal?

Update: Final Deal is worked out

I get

Matt Ryan
LeSean Mccoy
Jared Cook

I give up

Tom Brady
Martellus Bennet
Cedric Benson

Absolute no brainer right? I'm looking for any reason anyone can give me why this trade could be a no go.

The person I'm trading to just got Ryan in an unproccessed deal so I'll have some time before this is official.

My Team:

QB: Drew Brees
WR: Marques Colston, Vincent Jackson, Danarius Moore, James Jones
RB: Steven Jackson, Trent Richardson, Cedric Benson, Alfred Morris, Dexter Mccluster, Roy Helu
TE: Vernon Davis, Brandon Pettigrew

His Team:

QB: Tony Romo, Joe Flacco
WR: Brandon Marshall, Dez Bryant, Stevie Johnson, Malcom Floyd, Jerome Simpson
RB: Arian Foster, Marshawn Lynch, Stevan Ridley, Mark Ingram, Legarette Blount
TE: Jason Witten

He's worried about his TE situation, and I'm crazy for Ridley.

The trade I originally proposed was:

Brandon Pettigrew
Alfred Morris
Vincent Jackson

for

Stevan Ridley
Malcom Floyd

He wants Cedric Benson instead of Alfred Morris.

Should I still pull the trigger?

My Cedric Benson, Brandon Pettigrew, Vincent Jackson for his Stevan Ridley and Malcom Floyd.

Should I do it?

Well I think Vincent Jackson is doomed this season and giving up Benson is much better then giving up Morris. I also love Ridleys upside and think you can have a legit 1 2 3 RB punch with him morris and Jackson if the season plays out well.

As far as Pettigrew goes, he's your bench TE right? Not a big loss at all.

I like both Malcolm Floyd and Ridley this year and hate Jackson and dont think Benson will be consistent enough this year.

Do some research with strength of schedule especially around the last 4 weeks and if the match-ups are in your favor...go for it.

Yeah Charles looks very good, provided touches he'll produce no doubt. Hillis on the other hand give him 20 touches he might crack 50 yards, poor guy looks DONE sadly.

do it. you get the most valuable player out of the deal. not sure why this guy is so enamored by brady that he's willing to give up mccoy. pats fan? rodgers i can understand but brady? unless he duplicates his 4500+ yard, 50 TD season, shady mccoy will finish ahead of him.

yes, reid feeding mccoy is a concern but he'll still get his. ryan might not finish too far behind brady or hell, might even finish ahead of him. if everyone stays healthy, it's hard for me to see how you lose out on this. you get the best player. you take a small step back in QB at worst.

run dont walk to accept that deal.

that deal is honestly veto worthy and if i were in that league i'd likely throw a fit, lol.

you're getting the best TE in the deal as well and a very marginal downgrade at QB.

Not to mention a top 5 RB.

Is Mikel Leshoure going to be any good when he gets back? Picked him up as a FA since i'm planning on trying to turn Chris Johnson into a quality WR, which is proving difficult at the moment as the only offer I received was for Anquan Boldin.

Run don't walk to turn CJ4Yards into a quality WR. He's 2 days from having another disastrous game vs a solid defense and what little value/name recognition he has left will quickly evaporate. He's going to have a truly awful year and will go down as a massive bust. I can't think of a player who has underperformed at the level he's at right now. Of course there are top picks who get injured but he stays healthy and does nothing. It's almost looks hes hurting your team even more because you're generally forced to start him. He's truly awful, and I think he'll be a bust in round 4-5 next year if he's even still a starting RB in the NFL.

Leshoure coming off a brutal injury and I don't see him being anything more then a short yardage plodder and goal line back. If Kevin Smith is healthy Leshoure won't see more then 6-8 carries a game. He looked awful in the preseason and Kevin Smith is really a great system fit for the offense they run in Detroit. He will have some value in standard leagues and he'll have a chance to get some goal line work but to me he's nothing more then a Kevin Smith handcuff.

I sold CJ4Yards for Frank gore and I was literally ecstatic. I think after week 2 you'll get a lot less in return. I own him in one other league and I've sent a trade offer to literally every member and can't get anything. I'd like to cut him honestly in that league, it's a 10 team standard league so he's pretty much worthless. I'd take peanuts on the dollar at this point.

Thanks. I threw out 8-9 offers there. I'm lucky at the moment since RB is my greatest strength so while it's a complete waste of a pick CJ sucking isn't hurting me completely yet since Spiller is starting.
