Well I donīt think the games were fixed for Team USA, but some players forced FIBA refs hand just like they did NBA refs. Can you call travelling on every offensive possession on LeBron or Wade? FIBA would embarrass the NBA superstars, possibly leading to the USA saying they donīt want their superstars embarrassed like five year olds like that canīt follow the simple rules of basketball.
At the same time that this hurts the NBA, it also hurts FIBA, who receives much more attention through the participation of NBA superstars and improves their game. Yes for a while it was cool to beat Team USA, and great for business, but at some point Team USA needed to win again.
Whatīs interesting is that apparently no European team has any interest in LeBron James. Havenīt heard a thing about offers made to him. Meanwhile teams offer Durant millions of dollars. I think that also shows that European clubs consider Durantīs World Championships performances much more legit than all of Bronīs national team appearances. I donīt think many consider LeBron to be a superior basketball player to Durant under FIBA rules, because Bronīs RB go-to-move is even more useless against a real zone than it was against the Mavs NBA zone.

Gasol pushed Howard,Reyes gets the rebound and travels,and gives it to Rudy for the open 3 point shot.Did you hear anyone cry about it? when Usa gets the benefit of the call it's apparently a conspiracy but on Spains case,it's just honest mistakes.I'm tired with this bs.

I actually really enjoy watching FIBA basketball, honestly I like watching FIBA basketball more than a lot of the NBA teams because they play a much more team oriented game and are a lot more physical but I can definately admit that the NBA is a superior league.

The FIBA head of Olympic group reffing stated that the technical fouls were awarded to the USA at the end of that gold medal game in order to ensure victory for the USA, per the orders of FIBA to the refs that they were told that Team USA must win the gold medal before the tournament began.
Whether you like it or not, this stands as a fact and puts a huge asterisk over the USA gold medal.
