Two-time All-Euroleague guard Terrell McIntyre retires
Terrell McIntyre, one of the best point guards to grace the courts in Europe over the past few seasons, announced his retirement this week at the age of 34. A painful hip injury that has slowed down his game over the past years was the cause of the injury. McIntyre is best known for his four-year run with Montepaschi Siena between 2006 and 2010, during which he won four Italian League championships, was twice named to the All-Euroleague First Team and reached the 2008 Final Four. His best season came in 2008-09 when in 19 Euroleague games, McIntyre recorded an average of 17.3 points on 68.7% two-point shooting and 4.4 assists.
