If both Greece and Croatia advance, Macedonia will have 2 wins Group F and will only need to beat the 3rd place team of Group C (probably Georgia) to advance to the quarters.

Those players were entitled to obtain the Greek nationality legally. They did not obtain it by following fraudulent practices (e.g. faking papers, bribing govmnt. officials). Those players are Greek by blood. Not Afro-americans who traded their presence to a random national team for a fake euro-passport (i.e. European BB team door opener).

Nothing happened. They have outplayed Croatia in every part of the game since beggining. Great game from Bosnia. They can beat anybody but they are too inconsistent.

Supposedly this makes Duncan pure American according to Team USA, yet his country had their own national team and he played on it before he switched to Team USA. Never mind that the Virgin Islands, while a US territory, has its own sovereign country. Officially listed by the NBA as an international player. So yes, Tim Duncan was also born in a foreign country.

Otherwise, US territory Puerto Rico would not be allowed to have its own national team.

Maybe one day another country will catch Team USA in the number of foreign born players used.........but it is doubtful.
