Default Fat, M. Adams, & A. English

Were a badass trio.

Fat was 6'4" and pulled down 9.5 rebound per game one year. Adams rolled out 25 PPG's at 5'10", & Alex scored 25k point over his career! And all those dudes played on the same team!

Alex English dropped 26.5 PPG at 35 years old. I don't think anyone ever scored more per game at that age.

Yeah, those Denver Nuggets with English, Adams, Lever, Walter Davis, and lead by coach Doug Moe were fun to watch. This is where I wish that NBA TV would show more classic games, other than Gametime. People could see how Fat Lever, at 6'3" or 6'4", was dropping 18-19 a game and grabbing 8-9 boards! Man, I guess we have youtube. But thanks for taking us old cats back to the short-short days of the NBA. And Alex.... That brother had a quiet game about him. Before you knew it, Alex would have 30-40 on you and you were like "Dang. How did that happen?" That dude was quiet.

Alex English must be the most underrated all star of the 80's. NOBODY talks about him anymore. We see Bernard King threads or Dantley threads from time to time, but this must be the first time I've seen English's name in years.

I thought about that. I think a guy like Dirk or a guy like Paul Pierce would have ended up like Alex (never talked about) if they'd never won their rings and Finals MVP's. I feel sorry for English, he obviously was really fvcking good.

I agree. English is way underrated. Same with Walter Davis (Phoenix Suns).

You guys are in luck, the '85 Nuggets will be on NBA TV shortly, (if not already.)
