He's won next year's job for two reasons: Good play and by the time Philly picks the elite QB prospects will be gone.

the "no INT in x amount of games" is very misleading because he should have had several INTs during this span...

regardless he looks to be a "good" QB and now the Eagles won't have to draft one with their 1st round pick next year...which is absolutely huge

this blindsided me too...who saw Nick Foles being good in the IMMEDIATE future?...no one did

oh well, week 17 should be exciting again this year...

Every QB has a few throws that could have been intercepted and aren't. Having none is a lot of luck but it still requires excellent decisions and excellent throws. It won't last but it's not like he's going to throw 20 next season.

He might just be the second best QB from the 2012 draft (after russell wilson).

sorry, but most QBs don't have this^^^ happen at any time during the season...

should have been an int but instead is a 50 yard TD pass...that pass alone probably caused a 10 point swing in his passer rating

and then there was the INT yesterday to Patrick Peterson that was a horrible throw and decision...he was lucky that defensive holding was called to have it erased...

he has been playing "good" no doubt...just pointing out it isn't quite as good as numbers suggest

There was a report about a month ago that the Eagles had a trade offer for Kaepernick during that draft, but passed because Andy thought they would get Wilson. Of course, Wilson went before their pick and they ended with Foles.

I think he is as good as the numbers suggest.. A few passes could have been intercepted, but that goes for any QB.. He makes so few bad decisions that there won't be a lot of chances to intercept his passes

I want him to keep growing every week and piling up the momentum

His height, accuracy, and decision making are the main factors in his great numbers. He doesn't throw the best deep ball, but he has Jackson's speed and Cooper's height to help hip out there.. The pass to Jackson against Green Bay was thrown a bit late, but like they say "Luck is the residue of good design (and preparation)"

As long as the O-line stays healthy and he has most of his weapons? he'll be fine..

I have always liked the kid ever since Reid drafted him a year ago.. I wasn't sure he'd fit this well into Kelly's scheme, but I always thought he could be a very good QB..

no man, not every QB has catches that "should have been INTs"...most QBs have INTs that "should have been catches" but bounced off their own WR's hands

you shouldn't just write it off is as "oh everyone has bomb passes that bounce off defenders into the hands of their WRs"...lol, no...no most QBs aren't that lucky at all.

My co-worker works as a supervisor for team security, said the team believes Foles was actually concussed on the 2nd drive of the Dallas game but wasn't checked until later when he came out. Would help explain why he was missing wide open guys by 5+ yards. And every game is a QB rating well over 100 except that one which is like 40, not like Dallas has some great D.

The end of the season will be very fun. I believe both teams go into week 17 at 9-6. We'll see how it goes.

doesn't make a lot of sense… if passes can bounce off receivers hands, why can't they also bounce off defenders hands??

it happens.. that wasn't the first time it's happened and it won't be the last..

plays like that, and other odd bounces of the ball are a part of football, sometimes the ball bounces your way and sometimes it doesn't

teams that execute well generally get more good bounces than bad ones..

Even his possible interceptions, with the exception of yesterday's that was waived off, wouldn't have been the end of the world. They're primarily on bombs down field. He's not putting the other team's O in good field position if intercepted.

Damn shame we had to start Barkley vs NYG or we'd likely be 1 game up.

something was really wrong with him in the Dallas game.. He was missing wide open receivers and missing a lot of plays that he hasn't missed before or since that game..

we get another shot at the Cowboys, so we will see

they DO...however it is much more likely that a QB has a pass bounce off the WR's hands because THAT IS THE MAN HE IS THROWING AT lol

I would say about half of Romo's INTs were not his fault, they were the WR's fault...and I would say that is the case for most QBs...but with Foles it is the opposite

Foles success makes prime uncomfortable because he predicted he would get exposed and hasn't. So now he is playing up this he is so lucky his passes don't get intercepted angle. Hilariously.
