No. He's just not a very good RB. I don't why the media talks about him so much.

He'll never be an every down back, even though there aren't many of those left in the first place. BB4L doesn't even like him, he LOVES him.

He's still a great play-maker. He'd be sick in the wildcat.

He is what he is. A glorified 3rd down/change-of-pace back. He may put up career-year type stats, but it's just because he'll be more featured than he was in New Orleans...and that's if he can stay healthy.

I thought Bush was gonna be the next Marshall Faulk coming out of college and I also thought CJ would be outta the league after 3 years

im such a fail scout

Bush is a good weapon to have but he isnt a No. 1 RB

He is a bigger version of Darren Sproles and nothing more. He is an underachiever if you look at how dominant he was in College and what his expectations were. Overall I think he is a good RB but he was suppose to be a great RB like most thought including myself. I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to get over 1000+ yards this season but I am not sure if he does that because he "breaks out" or because he is in a better position to produce better numbers.

He will get a chance to reach his potential in Miami possibly but his ceiling really isn't that high. He will never be an every down back, we know that and he hasn't shown any indication that he can be explosive while only getting limited touches of the football.

I still think Bush had more value to New Orleans than his numbers suggested and that impact will be easier to see in Miami where there are less offensive weapons than in New Orleans. However, its really hard to predict how much he'll produce without seeing how the Dolphins are planning to use him.

If his body holds up and he's given the ball enough I can easily see him approaching anywhere between 1200 to 1500 yards receiving + running.

Remember Bush, Leinart, and Young were supposed to be the future 1st ballot HOFers in that draft class. And everybody was questioning Houston for selecting Williams. Crazy.

+1

A change of pace/speed back whose longest career run is 55 yards. In three of his five seasons his longest play from scrimmage (run or reception) has been less than 30 yards.

He hasn't been very effective in a great offense. Don't see why he would breakout in the crapfest that is Miami's offense.
