Default Where Do You Rank Wades' Talent All Time?

I'm just asking because as a player, he gets compared to Lebron alot, and Lebron is considered one of the most talented players of all time. Many consider him top 3 (although thats a different debate altogether).

Also that being said there is a number of people who think Wade is his equal and small sample who think he's even better.

I don't mean to make this a Wade/Lebron thread, Im just curious if Wade as a player is in the same tier, how do you view Wade. Top ten? Top20?

at SG definitely 2nd to only Jordan........

but as a player... most talent... Top 10-20 somewhere...

1. Wilt
2. Oscar
3. Jordan
4. Lebron
5. Bird
6. Shaq
7. Hakeem
8. Kareem
9. julius
10. magic
11. wade <----- when fully healthy & in shape
12. russell
13. malone
14. barkley
15. elgin baylor

he could have easily been up there matching almost all of lebrons accomplishments if he wasnt that much injury proned....

My main problem with him is his inability to be a more rounded scorer along with his inability to play on the right side of the floor. And honestly, as much as I and some of you would hate to admit it.... his game flourishes due to today's rules. Today's rules allow him to get to the rim and get calls on such a consistent basis.

As far as overall skills are concerned, I'd say he's not even a top 10 shooting guard all time.

However..... skill set can be an overrated factor when looking at a player's effectiveness and impact on the court. On those other factors he's a top 5 all time shooting guard. I can't say he's better than some players like West and other past greats from the 60s and 70s because I didn't see them play enough.

Million dollar question is: Is he better than Kobe?

Yes and No.

He's better than him in some aspects, while Kobe is better in others.

I would however take him over Kobe if I were to start a team, because he does what I would want my player to do more willingly and consistently than Kobe.

Why would Wades talent level move up if Miami win a championship(or more)? I always thought talent was who you are as a player.

Wade= 6'4 combo guard who can crash the boards, block shots, and get to the rim whenever he wants. Super athletic...incredibly agile. Can takeover at PG and do a decent job. Somewhat of a limited offensive game but above average on defense.

Talent-wise....dunno maybe top 50? Definitely not in LeBrons class though. Not Kobe either.

Again, I never understood why anyone could put the two words Wade and all-time in the same sentence. He is a great player and so but all-time?
