I thought the eraser was complete crap. I really think it was Thom Yorke just proving he could put out anything and his fans would eat it up and call it brilliant.
I think Radiohead has gotten progressively worse since Ok Computer. HTTT was better than Kid A and Amnesiac but nothing comes close to Ok and The Bends.
Best albums for me was Joanna Newsoms Ys but then I saw her live a couple weeks ago and it wasn't good at all. It was just her and her harp. Without the orchestration it lacks big time.
Um, My Morning Jackets live album was great, as was Fishscale (More Fish wasn't very good though) Timberlakes album was better than expected, Yo La Tengo always has good stuff & wins best title of all time, Mastodons Blood Mountain was fun.
It's fight weekend (UFC 66 & Shockwave 2006) so my minds on that so I can't really think about music right now. I'll let you know monday.
Experimental Indie-rock/rap with thought-provoking lyrics, best ish I've heard in a looong time.

I know its Thom Yorke, the musical genius and all, but this album sucked donkey balls. The Radiohead mates cannot go solo. They must stick together to be their best...kind of like the Beatles. Nothing Paul or John have written individually (aside from "Imagine") can really compare to the great songs they wrote and produced together.
Wow, I totally disagree. I really liked the album. A lot of the songs reminded of Kid A stuff (my all-time favorite Radiohead album). There some superb songs, especially "Black Swan", which was one my favorite songs of the year. I'm not saying the album was perfect, but I thought it was really good.
Well if you dont want to agree with me, Then what is your choice for Album of the year in rock?
To me, my favorite was Sam's Town, Therefore I belive it is the album of the Year!!
