looks like a plethora of recent #1 seeds in the tourney

I'd rather see WVU. We get to keep the backyard brawl and WVU is a solid basketball/football school.

Gonna be weird seeing Syracuse in the ACC but being a fan of the Orange and Tar Heels I like it.

I also hate Duke as much as I hate UConn and Pitt so this should be convenient to cheer for 2 teams I like and jeer against 3 teams I hate.

so when does this start? will pit and cuse be in the acc this coming season?

Yeah, but WVU's academics are god awful compared to schools in the ACC.

This really pisses me off. This is clearly a footballl move, but it really ruins a lot of the greatness/passion of Big East basketball.

Basically the WVU-Pitt game will only happen once a year now as a non-conference game, if they even keep the series going.
Same thing with Syracuse-Georgetown.

Then you add in losing UConn and it really hurts Big East basketball. UConn is an irrelevant football program that will become a bottom feeder in the ACC, but for basketball I really think they are going to get lost in the shuffle in the ACC espescially once Calhoun retires.

The only way to even attempt to make up for the loss of those 3 is by adding Kansas, Baylor, Kansas State, Missouri, & Memphis for football & basketball.

Lose 4 to Gain 6(including TCU who comes in 2012)

Rumor around here (SEC country) has been West Virginia to the SEC for quite some time now. I haven't heard anything to the contrary, either. Word has it they are going to be the 14th team to balance out Texas A&M.
