I know that MVP usually goes to a qb, but I don't like how you only have qbs on your list. There are plenty of other players who have played well enough to be in contention: DMC, 2 150 yd games with 3 touchdowns, Calvin Johnson, 6 tds in 3 games... list goes on

Maybe include honorable mentions?

McFadden deserves to be on the list over who, exactly? Fitzpatrick has his team at 3-0 and he's a big reason why. Brees is a monster week in and week out. Stafford has his team 3-0 and is throwing for insane numbers.

Brady had a much better day then his four interceptions would lead you to believe yesterday - 3 of them weren't even his fault - and his overall numbers are just insane.

McFadden is great, but his team is 2-1...and he's a running back, a much less valuable position than quarterback. It is what it is - a quarterback driven league. Y'all see what happens to a team when a great quarterback goes down (Colts)....you go from a team averaging 12 win a year over the last numerous years to possibly not even winning 6 games without him.

On the flip side Arian Foster goes down and the Texans don't miss a beat. Example are plentiful when it comes to running backs going down and the team not really missing a beat in todays NFL. Really any other position you can handle a loss at, except QB.

My rankings reflect that.

MVPs are QB awards

OPOY are for everyone else.

Ware will have 3 sacks tonight...

MVP is always "best player, best team" should just be a list of players on the undefeated teams left...

I wouldn't say the Texans situation is a good indicator at all of assessing the value of DMC and where he would belong in the MVP race. Texans without Foster still have a backup RB that many people were high on, along with the best WR in the league to many, and a very good QB. The Raiders without DMC would have Bush who isn't half the playmaker DMC is, with Jason Campbell throwing to...who exactly?

Though you do have a good point of who DMC would be over on your list, especially since its only three games in and teams are starting hot its usually because of stellar QB play, but given the look of the Raiders without McFadden I'd say he deserves to be up there somewhere.

I said before the season started the Ware will win DPOY and will break the single season sack record.

a CB will never win DMVP without getting INTs on a consistent basis. Revis is good but he will need some takeaways before he can be considered DMVP. its tricky because Revis never gets a ball thrown to his reciever's man though.

Revis has to play in the level that he played in '09 in order to win DPOY. So far.....he has not played like that.

I think with the attention that Revis and Nnamdi have brought to the CB position that no longer has to be the case. People realize that no one throws to these guys and they realize for the most part that it is more of a credit to their cover skills more than anything.
