Show me any elite quarterback throughout history where over a 4-5 year period of time, they had a team record even sniffing that 58-85 record.

Bottom line is, if you got a elite QB, it's very rare you're not in the playoffs or competing for that playoff spot at the very least.

QB is more important...yes, I agree

it is THE most important position in the NFL...

it doesn't matter one is going to trade the best "insert any position in the game other than kicker or punter" there is in the game for an unproven QB.

Vikes wouldn't trade Peterson for Luck...

Lions aren't giving Calvin for Luck...

Jets aren't giving Revis for Luck...

9ers aren't giving Willis for Luck...
