Enough Alex Smith bashing, I have Crabtree in FF I hope he continues throwing him the pigskin.

Haters gonna hate. Niners went ultra conservative after they got the huge lead thanks to Smith tearing them up.

What will you say next week when Smith puts up 3 TD's, 250 yards, 68 com% whilst winning 36-21?

GB defense sucked last season this season they are are even more disarray in the secondary. Tear up Detrput defense and props will be given. I can't do it for the Packers.

Alex Smith is a really good QB, borderline top 10, and I think he is better than Matt Ryan for the record.

If you haven't already realized this, everything on ISH is ALWAYS on the record .

Borderline top 15 is more accurate than borderline top ten.

Who here thinks that if you take Alex Smith out of the 49ers and Harbaugh's offense and game calling that he is the same QB? That's the question. Could he duplicate this type of play somewhere else? And without the dominant running game, would he play that well?

He's good, not great. He's in a ridiculously well coached system that plays to his strengths.

Um I think if you take any Quarterback out of a scheme where he succeeded he wouldn't be the same quarterback. Alex Smith always had the talent and potential. It was just awful coaching and managing that he went through at the beginning that put him in a shell, when Harbaugh came along he brought the confidence back to Alex and we can see his true colors. I think Smith will be even better IF he and Harbaugh stick around together for a while.

The 49ers are a better situation that most for a QB. Their coach is awesome, he controls everything, they have a great line and great running game, and Alex isn't allowed freedom to make any throw. If you look at the 49ers and think this is not better for a QB that a lot of other teams you aren't paying attention.

Do you know what a west coast offense is?? You are way too predictable and generic.

He played really well tonight. Plus the receivers dropped 7 perfectly thrown balls.

he looked good on that 4th quarter drive. 3/3 on 3rd downs. seven straight games without a TO is also impressive.

Has turned into a decent QB. Still not as good as he was expected to be.
