Great player. Glad I got to see him play. I don't get how he and some of the other greats get so much negativity from the 'tards on this site. Some guys here think Beasley is better than Dominique or Rasheed Wallace was better than K. Malone..it's sad.

Rodman never stepped to him. Not that I remember anyway. Annoying him on the court and stepping to him are two different things.

Magic got pissed at him for something during a game and started yelling and getting in his face.

I went on the assumption of this comment:

"nah dat was on sum "boy ill dump yo muh****in ass" type shit, not gay." by paulandj

Malone never did retaliate... so I guess it worked... Or he was shocked at the fact of how gay it was...

A lot of the phyical play between rodman and malone was initiated by rodman. He definately never ran from malone. And he definatly frustrated malone

Charles Barkley knows the best way to counter Malone though:

Also, here's a clip of Gary Payton trash talking Malone:

    Rodman yelling malone's face...

Rodman hard foul to Malone & stockton (stockton's "hey! you stupid son of a bitch" reaction is priceless )

But Malone wasn't fake tough guy..He was smart enough to stay in game unlike Mourning and other tough guys.

Haven't watched the video but I'm guessing it didn't show how Malone got so many of his points - setting up deep and just going up for a layup.

That's why his game "seemed" soft. He doesn't really post up and dribble his way for a hookshot. He just gets deep position, gets a pass from Stockton, and uses his build to get his shot off.

    This.

I would of hated to see the Jazz win a championship. Didn't like their style of play, didn't like Malone or Stockton.

Reminds me a bit when Charles did the same to Malone in the 1992 All Star Game i believe.

    Flawed post.
Malone was tough and strong. Mutombo was tough, but not overly strong. Kenyon Martin was/is neither.

Even if anyone hates on him for personal issues or 'failures' under pressure, he was undeniably a powerful power forward in his physical prime. And I pretty much consider his post 95 seasons out of his physical prime, but into his skillful prime.
