Ever since I've been playing basketball, I've tried to model my game after Pistol Pete, except a little more modern, kind of Brent Barry-ish. I've attempted to learn all their passes/moves including Pistol's two hand wrist pass, along with Brent's one-hand wrist pass. I also used to copy Pistol's shot, but changed it once I realized it wasn't going to work.

My game isn't anything like these 2 guys though. I'm a great passer, but have average ballhandling and shooting skills. I'm not much of a scorer, but I'm always my team's number one defender along with being a great rebounder/post passer.

When I was younger I would take bits and pieces from everybody. I learned to do that from a Marbury interview from a magazine. But then people would ask who has the sickest crossover in the NBA and most people would say Iverson. I took that to heart and worked on my game to be like AI's. I still depend on my jumper a little more then AI though.

To be quite honest... I dunno. I try to be a versatile player like AK-47 but i dont think my game is like his. Id say a Carlos Boozer type. Good on the post but can hit a jumper from time to time.

Jason Kidd & Tony Parker on offense, and Jason Kidd and Kobe Bryant's defense.

I'm a good mid range shooter but not 3pt, so I take it in for a layup or I make plays for my teammates.

I love the crossover too. And my defense is ussually what sets the tone. It's why I'm always picked up for in games.

I haven't played "real" competitive ball in a year or so outside of intramurals, but in high school I used to try and play like Carmelo at Syracuse. Post, slash, aggressive rebounding, and all that jazz.
