Sure it does.

Super Bowls don't matter, UNLESS you win 4. Then they matter.

No one should have abortions, UNLESS you get raped. Then it's your choice.

I like when he posted the link to the top 10 worst SB QBs and his only remarks are...

"Defense wins championships"

Terry did it himself, he has 4 rings. 1 ring proves it was defense. 4 must prove it was QB?

The reality is primetime really got offended when people like myself ranked Eli Manning as a top 10 QB over Tony Romo. He was livid (go bump the thread). So he came across a silly article and will argue on it for f*ck sake.

Yeah that still doesn't make sense lol...wtf

Let's just add :

"Every human should be allowed to post here UNLESS your name is Sarcastic"

Again, the four rings is in relation to that list...i cleary said every ring matters to a QB.

But you said rings don't make a QB great, or even good. So... looking at Terry Bradshaw's stats, how can you say he is not one of the worst QBs to win a Super Bowl? He has 212 TDs, and 210 interceptions. Eli Manning isn't even close to being that bad.

AGAIN, different eras...can't compare the stats, but there are plenty of people that thing Bradshaw is overrated...

the fact that he won four rings rather than one does mean something though in terms of him being one of the worst ever does it not?

Had Dilfer won 4 rings in a row he wouldn't be anywhere near that list...or Eli, or anyone with four rings in comparison to just one ring...

So then are you ok with saying that if Marino's record is shattered this year, it will be cheapened or should get an asterisk?

I'd say he's way too inconsistent to be called underrated. Plus, I've seen way too many excuses be made for him while people ignore the times when his receivers bail him out by making incredible catches on rather poor throws (ex: some of Cruz's catches).

Quote:
I also find it funny that he had one of the greatest post season runs ever and yet it gets swept under the rug.

Probably because he didn't. He only had 6 total TDs in 4 games. Look at Steve Young. He once threw 6 TDs in the Super Bowl alone.

It was a different era back then. They didn't have all these pussified rules we have now. You could maul a receiver all the way down the field back then. They didn't have the WCO back then with a bunch of short, safe passes. They had more downfield passing back then. Just go look at the yards a completion numbers. Also, it wasn't simply a prediction. The AFL was seen as being far inferior to the NFL. The AFL got crushed in the first 2 SBs, and the Jets were huge underdogs coming into that game (18-point underdogs), but they pulled out the win showing that the AFL could hang with the NFL.

Seriously??

I understand taking him over Bradford and Stafford, maybe even romo but there is no way someone in their right mind is taking him over Ryan,Vick,Romo and he isnt in the same class as a Rivers or Roethlisberger.

Matt Ryan hasn't done anything to warrant being above Manning.
