What has Rivers or Ryan done that Manning hasn't?

Great stats. Eli has never had a 34TD/11 INT-level year and has never gone for 4700 yards.

And when has Matt Ryan thrown for 34 TDs? or anywhere near 4700 yards? ROFL.
Eli's thrown for more yards, more TDs in a season then Matt Ryan.
This thread is evidence as to why he's underrated, because posters think Matt Ryan is a better QB.

Why wouldn't we take him over Vick and Romo? Are you watching this season? I want no part of Vick. Every problem he cured last year (holding the ball too long, throwing into traffic, havnig happy feet) is back 100%. And romo makes mistakes just like Eli, just at worse times.

Rivers was who I was talking about. Please reevaluate within that context.

Both have higher ceilings, but I agree Manning has been more consistent this season.

What else is Vick supposed to? His protection hasnt been great. When Eli goes on his midseason collapse again, we'll see what everyone says then.

Yes, so unlike Vick who piles on the titles, right? When Vick gets knocked out and misses 5 games give me a call.

so please explain how that makes him a better QB then Eli?
Eli threw for for more yards, more TDs last year. His interception total is grossly inflated as well.

Re: Eli Manning and the Dreaded Underrated Word
i don't know what to say about eli. his 1st 3 years were subpar. at times he was good, and other times he was just plain horrible. his last 4 years are underrated. we have to remember he's posting some solid numbers with some not so elite wide receivers. the last 2 years he's been fortunate enough to have hakeem nicks around.
