Default Dragon Ball Z: ultimate Tenkaichi

dont buy it.

the graphic are amazing, but the gameplay is sooo repetive and the character list is so small.

if the added about 20 new characters and made the gameplay like budakai 3, and kept the same graphics.

it would have been the best dragon ball z game ever.

they screwed it up.

im still gonna beat the game, but after that it hold no value.

They make so many of these DBZ games. Last one I bought was Super DBZ for PS2 and it was good, but they never seem to put much effort into making them great games.

If it were Budokai Tenkaichi 3's fighting engine combined with features such as more destructible environments, character creation and more character customization it would be the perfect DBZ game.

I know Bandai is taking over instead of Atari but they should have at least tried to copy BT3's fighting mechanics.

i really would have been. i was so hyped to get it, but i should have watched the gameplay videos before hand. i just assummed it would be more combative instead of this new fighting style. you basically punch three times then press x or y and if the other person hit the same button you do then the attack ends and if the dont then you attack in a series of moves that you dont really control.

the graphics are unbelievable though. you can blow up rocks or building with ki blast and the super moves look awesome. they blow craters in the arena, but then it just goes back to normal.

the giant bosses are the best part of the game.

once you get use to the gameplay it's alright, but i wish it was like the former games.

Yeah I saw some gameplay a while back and it was disappointing. Idk maybe I'm just a BT3 homer.

But you are right, the graphics are amazing, and the giant boss look really good and fun. I just wish they could use Atari's fighting system from BT3.

Actually, I've been writing up my own DBZ game

I just a quick look of this, and yea the fighting did look repetitive.
