A 78-game NBA regular seasons schedule still may be possible
Check this out. It would be a pretty crowded game schedule, but one report says that it's very possible the NBA still manages to have a 78-game regular season in 2011-12:

One month off the regular season and they still might play 78 games? These players are going to be tired by the postseason. Hope it isn't true.

not sure how i feel about this! In a way is cool because he get to see more great shut happen but then again it could tire the players out by the post season.

What is the revenue for the all star game vs the games missed from allstar weekend. I would have thought no way do the league cancel it, it would be a big money boost for all parties? They would just hold it at a late date?
