Default VOTE - 8th Best Peak out of Current Players

#7 best peak out of current players according to ISH:

TRACY MCGRADY

-----------------------------------------------------------

1. Tim Duncan
2. Kobe Bryant
3. LeBron James
4. Kevin Garnett
5. Dwyane Wade
6. Dirk Nowitzki
7. Tracy McGrady

-----------------------------------------------------------

You have 24 hours to vote for the 8th best peak out of the current players (The player must have had a contract in the NBA in the 2010-11 season and has not announced retirement).

My vote: Jason Kidd (again, people tend to look at scoring first when deciding, but Kidd was a triple double machine in his prime with top notch defense, and was an amazing floor general that led his team to back to back Finals appearances.)

And definately the "longest peak", if that's even possible.

Kidd averaged 2 SPG over his career.

Kidd is pretty good on defense but Nash isn't bad. It is over exaggerated to try to make a point. He is up there with 70% of the PGs in the league on defense.

Kidd is top tier defense Nash is top tier offense. Its really a personal choice I guess.

My vote is for Steve Nash.

Edit: Stats are comparisons between years. For the postseason could only compare years both teams made the playoffs. Kidd is missing a couple series I believe.

LeBrons whole career is better than alot of these players....

Are we assuming we Havent seen LeBrons peak yet

By this I mean I assume we are witnessing it. So I take it we have to wait for the entire peak to be over?

I mean you could say Nash is still peaking...

Who would he be above? He's got no argument against Dirk or Tmac, let alone Garnett LeBron etc.

Nash. Hill's peak was too short for my taste. Might as well give the top spot to T-Mac for his 35-second peak against the Spurs.

I think we are going by one year peaks...and T-Mac's peak was 02-03 . One of the greatest seasons ever for a perimeter player. He's too low on this list.
