i always was skeptical on CJ's superstar status he got from last year. it makes me laugh how many excuses he got from the Titans every week up to this point where they seem to finally not blaming everything on the Oline for his failures. i like Ringer too, he runs harder more regularly than CJ with more juke, but obviously isn't the do or die threat.

i wouldn't give shit for ChrisJohnson tho. i'd just as well take CJ Spiller and try to turn him into a home run RB do or die threat....

I was never overly impressed with CJ even during his 2000 yard season. He just happened to have an outstanding (and very underrated OL) that year. It was a flukish season, almost like the former Ravens RB (forgot his name) who busted out for 2k on the ground then fell off the face of the earth.

I can't remember the dude's name. He did a few months in jail for drug conspiracy

jamal lewis was a beast. its just his running style couldn't last long, and it didn't. Ravens made the smart move not resigning him tho.

Yeah, that's him. He had 2 insane rushing games against the Browns that season too. Like 400 yds in both games combined or something.

I think the offensive coordinator changed so it may have effected him. Another thing hat doesnt bode well for him to have Ringer run for positive yardage now its probably going to be a RBBC (Running Back By Committee).

Considering his new contract and his inability to play up to it he probably doesnt have much value. There arent many teams that play with a solo featured RB which his contact dictates him to be.

titans screwed themselves with that. so many similar situations going on too with RB's like Peyton Hillis, Forte, F.Jackson(even tho he has 1 more year), etc...

It depends on whether or not you think his current play is representative of the best he can do. If it is then with his new deal you have to package him with first rounders just to give him away. But if you think he can return to form then he's worth a 1 and a 2.

so whoever you traded him to would have to take on his monster contract right?

I don't think you could give Chris Johnson away right now...

He would have to restructure...

Chris Johnson arguably the best RB in the nfl. He's worth atleaat a first rd pick. Teams like bengals, browns, jets would part with a first.

Here's a question: What's he worth in a fantasy keeper league?
