Default Haynesworth cut

"@AdamSchefter: DT Albert Haynesworth waived from New England. Teams have until 4 pm ET on Wednesday to claim his contract."

Not shocking. Talkin about it on the radio now. Just a matter of time before Ocho gets cut.

Bears should go after Albert. We need depth woth Adams out and Peppers already attracts do much attention.

This doesn't surprise me at all. I can't lie I know he's probably done but wouldn't mind seeing him in Carolina anyway just in case he's not. If nothing else he's a really big body, that has to help against the run right?

you don't want him in Carolina...he is garbage...and who knows what unwanted drama he brought to that locker room

I don't want any more leftovers from New England's defense of all teams. If you get cut from a shifty defense like the Pats, what does that say?

I laughed at the thought of Albert Painsworth turning it around in NE under the hoody (no need to bump thread). I laugh even harder to hear Albert Painsworth was cut today. I wanted no parts of him as an Eagles fan and they better not DARE explore the option now that he is out of work.

If he cleared waivers I wouldnt mind having him sign for the veterans minimum to be part of the Jets 3-4 front line rotation. But he doesnt like the 3-4 and he may eat all Rex's Twinkies maybe not a good fit.

Rotoworld reported this:

The Boston Globe's Greg Bedard pointed out Monday night that Haynesworth turned in three of the worst plays ever seen by a defensive tackle in Week 9. Haynesworth got "ragdolled easy," pancaked, and then fell down with a soft shove against the Giants, leading to a sideline confrontation with DL coach Pepper Johnson. Haynesworth still has the talent to excel, but his heart isn't it. It will be interesting to see if Eagles DL coach Jim Washburn, who had Haynesworth in Tennessee, will push for a waiver claim. He's a locker room cancer at this point.

considering that play i think it was against the Skins where he just laid flat and gave up, i want to see these 3 plays he's talking about

I'm sure the real story won't come out until after the season. That's how it works with the Pats. The situation with Adalius Thomas is still kind of cloudy.

I bet they were 3 plays where he was gassed and just took them off completely and didn't move a muscle or even try...

The guy could barely pass a physical...he is just so out of shape.

he might be good for one play a game and then after that play he needs to be carted off the field cause he is just too tired to walk off the field himself...
