Default Most Impressive NFL Rookies so far

Obviously rookies aren't solely judged on what they've done in the first 8 or 9 games of the season but who has impressed you the most so far?

Cam Newton has achieved a lot more than people expected but there's also some good defensive players.

Von Miller is looking like he has the potential to be an elite OLB in the league.

Marcell Dareus is looking like a beast DT for the Bills..

Julio and AJ have been awesome. Can't leave out Dalton either.

Im interested to see how Ponder plays during the remainder of the season too.

Aldon Smith has been incredible rushing the passer. He's my DROY right now.

I haven't really got to watch Patrick Peterson in coverage much this year but he is living up to the hype as a playmaker.

Starting QB of the most surprising team of the season. Expect some of the bloom to come off the rose when they begin division play vs Balt and Pitt, but if winning games matters, he's the clear favorite.

Yeah, Murray seems like the real deal. Looks like Dallas found their franchise RB.

Now they just need a franchise QB and they'll be set.

Haha

Same with San Diego...Mathews looks real, now you need a real QB

Pretty sure he only has .5 more sacks than Von. Von's probably got him killed in QB hits\pressures and general QB disruption. Smith is pretty much a pass rush specialist too, no?. Von's been pretty good against the run for the most part and actually dropping back in coverage sometimes. Been a 3 down player except for that one game where he got pulled for a little bit.

Guess he had the advantage of starting from day 1 on a weak defense compared to Smith tho.

Owner/GM Jerry Jones compares RB DeMarco Murray's gliding style to Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson.
"He has a certain smoothness," said Jones. "His glide, he doesn't lift his feet as much as Dickerson did, but the other thing he reminds me of is he runs with such acceleration and power. He really throws his weight around."

he is saying they have different running styles...I agree, he doesn't run like Dickerson at all...Peterson runs like Dickerson

if I were to compare Murray's style to a HOF player it would be Tomlinson or Faulk
