Watching the UCONN game.

-Lamb's ball handling is impressive. He can get by people off the bounce at will. Has a sick crossover.

-Drummond is showing glimpses of his athleticism and touch. Good to see.

Starting to think this comparisons are a bit off. He has a much better handle than Richard Hamilton, Brandon Rush or Rudy Fernadez. He has a GREAT handle for a two guard. Some of the dribble moves he is pulling off are high level stuff

same here. Its the closest comparison. A smaller, less athletic T-Mac with a freakish wingspan. His ball handling is very reminiscent of T-Mac.

his pullup game reminds me of allan houston but he moves like rip on the court, very good at curling off screens

His handles must be really improved from last year if you guys are seriously in support of the T-Mac comparison. I haven't gotten to see more than a minute or two of UCONNs first game at the bar so I haven't really gotten to see him in action yet.

I didn't watch him last year, watched couple of games of his in fiba in the summer and now these two games. I'm confused with the Rip and Rudy comparisons too when he's been managing the ball a lot and creating so much off the dribble (getting by defenders and drawing fouls, taking and making shots off the dribble, seen him cross guys up...go in and out on them, having no problem creating his own shot).

played with a poisonous point guard. coach was sick and thus couldn't reign him(Napier) in. Lamb was a catalyst on a national championship team while playing very hard.

This is sounding very similar to how Rudy Gay was hated on back in 2006.

Quote:
Weaknesses: Though he's just 19 years of age, his sophomore year was supposed to be his to take over college basketball. When that didn't happen, people began to question his desire and intensity and whether he has it in him to become great ... He floats in and out of games, and tended to defer to teammates in clutch situations ... Is it a lack of fire, or just a lack of maturity and confidence? Time will tell ... Unselfish to a fault, like Vince Carter, he almost takes being the perfect teammate too far. He's a star and should act like one ... He still struggles to create offense for himself off the dribble, getting the majority of his baskets off of rebounds, or passes from tammates

And like Gay, teams will regret passing on Lamb for lesser talents.
