Damn, sounds like a sick game, from a rookie?!

I'll definitely watch this one later. Thanks for the recommendation.

The culture of the league was so different back then. To think of the idea that the veterans would freeze out a rookie despite him being that good, just because of his rookie status seems a little "cult" like. You look at games today and players like Griffin are celebrated when they make the All Star game, and are given alley oop passes from the veterans in the midst of the all star game.

Why would players back then feel the need to send a message that "you don't deserve this" when he clearly did? Don't get me wrong, I'd much prefer a competitive all star game than the exhibition of dunks and no defense we get today, but there's a line between competitiveness and sending a message to a rookie.

Not that it was that big of a deal, it's just an unusual occurrence. I mean, did Kareem or Wilt get frozen out of their all star games? Why this time specifically?

Actually, right. Shouldn't you know that? You spend enough time researching the guy.

It was actually Jordan who went against HOFers and overall tougher competition than Kobe.

His TEAM got "merked" in the 80's....he himself was individually at his most dominant and looked upon as the run-away BEST player in the league from his peers, which included Magic and Larry.

TOO EASY

I'll admit i have never seen MJ play on TV... But to ignore some facts which clearly show who was the superior player (MJ obviously) is wrong..

and in the 80's, his teams weren't as good as in the 90's...and when he got good teams, he won 6 rings...in 6 attempts while dominating his opponents.
