Even with salary cap, I still only see the same teams competing for contention.

Teams like the Clippers, wolves, bobcats, and the Raptors are still at the bottom of the standings. Expansion hurt the quality of play in the league.

No salary cap..than I would pay D. Rose $250,000 a year. I'd also give him a hooked on phonics cassette to listen to.

Rose had like a 4.0 GPA in College.

He's probably one of the most intelligent players in the league.

Remember who his college coach was...Calipari..that means he didn't have to do anything in college..just show up to class.

I thought the NBA's talent took quite a hit after around 1994 because of super-high contracts for young players.

Rose says the game is growing, but to me it's now less big than it was during the 90s.

Anyhow, hasn't European soccer and MLB shown how boring the sports are for smaller markets?

The NBA with no salary cap? Toronto might have been able to keep T-mac and Vince together.

If not, the Kidd-Carter-Jefferson Nets would have been able to bolster their bench and frontcourt with better players(Kristic and Cliff were good but they had no one else).

The Cavs would have been able to sign Michael Redd in 04 instead of settling for Larry Hughes.

Golden State could have kept their team together and added a couple pieces to become a quality contender.

I feel like a salary cap is lame. This is business, if people are willing to spend then they should be allowed to do so. Money spent/=/winning at all.
