He's still big and bulky and they give him 6 fouls to use, right?

He'll start.

Of course he'll get more playing time. The reason he didn't get much burn against the Suns is because the Suns are a quick and fastbreaking team, Damp is useless in that kind of series.

He's like an elephant with less facial expressions.

dampier plays pretty well agsint shaq. hes not going to put up huge numbers, but he makes shaq wrok to get his points. he also isnt going to try and flop shaq out of the game like ben wallace was doing.

Went into the stands to talk to Cuban during that whole incident with Avery Johnson's wife.

Didn't even interact with any fans. Just walked up to Cuban, whispered something in his ear, and walked back to the bench.

Kinda BS, but Stern made it clear. No players into the stands.

I prefer Diop to Dampier. I know Diop hasn't had much of a career so far, but at least he's never had problems with not trying and playing for contracts, he's just been trying to learn the game and get his weight under control

He was suspended for 6 games. That was before Game 5. Not sure how that works since he wasn't even active at the time. I'm not sure if you have to be active for your suspension to count.

I do too. But they both serve a purpose. The Mavs really went on their contender status run when Diop was inserted into the starting lineup and Damp came off the bench. Damp actually played better off the bench. It's a nice comfort to have both of them, especially in a series like this one coming up.

Is Mbenga really any good? All I hear about is this man sitting on the bench. He has the height, therefore he must have some potential. But why the hell isn't he getting playing time (while not suspended).

^^^Mbenga has the athleticism and the size to play but what he lacks is the skills. He can grab rebounds and all but he still has trouble getting in defensive position and all the technical aspects of the game. Plus, his offense is nonexistant.
