unbiased opinion...I've watched both Philly games this year...will watch this weeks also...probably will watch at least 13 Eagle games this year
so far McCoy has gotten off a lot of big runs but for some reason they always look like wide open sprints to me that is more a product of the play call than it is him juking or creating plays
he IS good...no doubt, but I'd take Ray Rice over him right now

I'm more impressed by the runs he makes out of absolutely nothing than the big ones. Countless times I think he's getting stopped for a 2 yard loss and he turns it into a 4-5 yard gain. His madden agility rating should be a 99.
He's top 10. But not top 5. AP, MJD, Rice, Charles
He's in there with the likes of Forte, Mendenhall, SJax & Gore (when healthy), Turner tier. Guys who have poven year in and year out. I wanna put DMC, Hillis, and Foster there but they need more then one good year. Oh, and if DeAngelo Williams ever finds his mojo again he'll be in that 2nd tier as well.

I strongly disagree.
McCoy is far better back then Mendenhall/SJax/and Gore. Turner isn't even in the same realm. Forte is a great RB and would shine in any situation. He and McCoy are comparable. Both elite 3 down backs, plenty explosive, excellent route runners. SJax/Gore/Turner arrows are all definitely pointing down. Lots of tread on those tires. Mendenhall is not an elite RB. He's definitely solid and has proven pretty durable (kind of like a prime Ryan Grant) but is hardly a world beater. He's good at all phases great at nothing.
SJAX can't stay on the field. He's definitely worn down. The guy is a warrior but is not the back he once was. Turner even at his best wasn't as good as Shady/Forte/SJAX/Gore. He was a product of a great system/good line. He was a two down RB as well. Gore in his prime was borderline elite but lacks the same burst and also has trouble staying healthy.
Oh and McFadden might be better then every guy listed. As you know the NFL is such a show me now league. Mcfadden/McCoy/Forte are the future and simply better right now.

I don't like McCoy's style at all.. He just seems like an elusive back that just trys to out sprint everyone. But I guess in the eagles system he's a good fit

thanks for the unbiased opinion though
This is what I've noticed about McCoy that really impresses me. He can shake people laterally and make a gain out of a busted play. He's by far the best back in the division with Bradshaw next. However, Ray Rice is a much more dangerous threat and he's a superior playmaking back IMO.
